Orange Park Animal Hospital at Oakleaf is built on a robust foundation of preventative veterinary care. And no preventative care program would be complete without regular “nose-to-tail” wellness visits. We are so committed to preventive care and routine, proactive exams and visits that we provide many cost-effective wellness plans that lift the financial barriers to your pet getting the services it needs to be healthy and happy for a lifetime.
With that being said, no quality veterinary care clinic would be complete without truly responsive and trusted emergency and critical care services. Our veterinarian in Jacksonville, Florida, Dr. James Gillen, knows that not every threat to your dog’s or cat’s good health and safety is avoidable. Accidents happen. Injuries occur. Some conditions come on fast, even with the best foresight and planning. So, our highly skilled team is here for you when life throws you a curveball. Let us be your safety net and provide peace of mind to navigate those unforeseen circumstances and get your best buddy back to their healthy best!
Our office has the flexibility to adapt, prioritize, and spring into action on urgent cases. We accommodate emergencies promptly, knowing that moments can matter when your pet is in distress. Our commitment to emergency veterinary care also shows in our scheduling. Our team is available on weekends and at no additional cost to you (for “after-hours” care).
There is power in numbers. Our team joins forces with some of the area’s top 24-hour emergency animal hospitals and urgent care clinics. For added convenience during a stressful time, we are happy to arrange for transfers between our hospital and other clinics. Due to these close relationships and partnerships with other skilled professionals who operate 24/7/365, there is no disruption in the quality of care that is provided to your pet.
We have invested in a wide range of state-of-the-art diagnostic and therapeutic technologies. This rich blend of onsite capabilities allows our talented professionals to make the most accurate and prompt diagnosis here again when moments really matter. Since we cannot effectively respond or treat what we do not understand, a proper diagnosis lends itself well to fast and lasting symptom relief by treating the underlying cause of pain and other distressing physical and behavioral changes to your pet. Plus, since we offer everything your pet needs “in-house,” there is no need to add to the costs (and time) associated with treatment by referring you to another practice.
Orange Park Animal Hospital at Oakleaf believes that all families and households deserve to enjoy many happy years with their pets, regardless of their financial background or situation. For this reason, we provide many flexible and cost-effective options for payment and bring down any barriers to your dog or cat getting the care and services that they need.
For instance, our wellness plans for puppies, kittens, and adult dogs and cats help to stay ahead of problems, potentially minimizing the need for urgent or emergency care. We also offer a range of discounts for everything from critical care services to military clients and rescue dog patients. Also, be sure to ask us about financing through CareCredit®, which potentially transforms cost-prohibitive balances into manageable, monthly payments.
